Students will choose between a Diploma in Musical Theatre or in Dance. Both tracks will provide training in Musical Theatre disciplines, however the contact hours for each subject will vary. For the Musical Theatre Diploma, you will be Assessed in Singing, Acting and Dance. For the Dance Diploma you will be assessed in Dance and Choreography.
If you are 19+ there is access to the Advanced Learner Loan (A.L.L.). For our students who are 18 and below, there is currently no funding available. We will however be holding a scholarship audition once all places for the course have been offered.
The fee for the course is £7.500 which will be paid in 2 instalments. The first instalment of £3,750 will be paid in August and the second payment of £3,750 will be paid in December.
The course currently offers 25.75 contact hours per week. This is subject to change due to ongoing course development. Weekly dance classes will include ballet and jazztechnique. Students will also attend weekly acting, voice and singing technique classes, which with their contextual sessions form their core classes for the Level 4 Diploma. The remaining hours will offer students the opportunity to further develop their craft with industry professionals in classes such as Integrated Project (Song & Dance), Acting Through Song, Acting for Audition, Singing Repertoire, Acro, Tap, Street & Commercial and Ensemble Singing. These hours will be structured to suit the demands of the cohort and their chosen track.
