Sam Francis

Her passion lies in story telling allowing everyone to have a voice through the magic of performing arts. Her pioneering award-winning performing arts school X7eaven Academy is based in East London. She has extreme pride that X7eaven has been the vehicle for hundreds of young artists to move on to the professional stage, TV and Film. Her vision for X7eaven is that everyone deserves to ‘Dare 2 Dream’.

Sam is no stranger to the stage, as a Dancer, Choreographer and Director she has worked with and for the very best in Industry, developing commercial recording artist.

Sam trained at Urdang Academy and has been working in the music industry as a Performer, Choreographer and Writer/Director for many years.

She has been lucky enough to have started her career as a Dancer, Actress, Singer and has had the opportunity to tour the world in colossal arenas with pop artists such as Sean Paul, Beyonce, Destiny's Child, East17, Boyzone, Styles and Breeze, Phixx, Mark Morrison, P-Diddy, Worlds Apart and LL Cool J.

Choreographing and working on the Brits, MOBO Awards, Music Videos, as well as appearances on numerous international TV shows. Sam has written and directed a number of original productions that have been commissioned by the Barbican, Borough of Waltham Forest and also neighbouring boroughs and Theatres around London.

Sam’s accolades include her choreography being showcased across the world. Her work on the award winning ‘A Midsummer Madness’ was performed in New-York, London and at the Edinburgh festival by the talented cast of Hackney Harlem. Sam also co-choreographed the pantomime ‘Dick Whittington & his Cat’ at the prestigious Hackney Empire.

Sam has a unique and special talent when it comes to helping professionals develop their artistic abilities and inner confidence. Her unique and dynamic style of directing and choreographing mixes all different genres of style in which she has trained.

As a Producer Sam is also an influential member of Creative Citizens leadership team. Producing ‘The News from Nowhere Stage’ with the Barbican at the annual Walthamstow Garden Party. This involves commissioning multiple acts and sharing her experience with likeminded creative’s, who share the same vision of empowering the artistic and talented people of London.
